* Picked mid march 2005 at 13.7 Be
* Low Yields - 3 tonne per Ha.
* Mixed Clones -2325, 2324, 2051, MV6, some 115 and 114
* Wine Maker: Guy Wagner, Bass Fine Wines
* Wine Making: Part barrel fermentation, 30% new French oak
* Descriptors: Nose - Perfumed spicy plumb and cherry, with characteristic smoky overtones. Palate - Rich mouth feel from red and black berry fruits, combined with subtle oak integration, crisp acidic finish.
* Comments: James Halliday Wine Guide: “Reminiscent of some central Otago Pinot’s, a ten year pinot”. Will reward long cellaring, gaining complexity and funk!!
